Pop-up Restaurant

Aarons and Co will be hosting a pop up restaurant event on July 28th at Waverley.

Commencing at 7.00pm, the night will consist of a fabulous 3 course meal.
Cost is $55.00 per head, or $400 for table of 8 for dinner.
Drinks and cocktails will be available at usual bar pricing.
Numbers are limited, book a team table, or group of feeds, but get in fast.

Kookaburras coach Colin Batch recalls where it all began ahead of first Commonwealth Games in top job

Waverley Hockey Club life member and coach of the Australian men’s hockey team Colin Batch knows the Kookaburras will be playing with a target on their back at next week’s Commonwealth Games.

COME ‘N’ TRY HOCKEY MORNING

When: SATURDAY 24th FEBRUARY

Where: Hedley Hull Field
Cnr High Street Road and Winbirra Parade Ashwood

Time: 8am arrival for 8.15am – 9.15am session

What to bring: Runners, Hockey stick and shin pads. No need to worry if you don’t have these items as it will be provided on the day.

Australian Sports Foundation

The Waverley Hockey Club is registered with the Australian Sports Foundation to assist in maintaining our facilities at a high level. The link to the Australian Sports Foundation for tax deductible contributions is https://asf.org.au/projects/waverley-hockey-club/.

The current focus is the Lighting Up Waverley campaign, as highlighted in the below diagram which is also displayed in the Clubrooms.

The Australian Sports Foundation Ltd. (ASF) was established by the Australian Government to assist organisations to raise funds to develop sport in Australia through public & corporate donations. Pursuant to the ASF’s listing in Division 30, section 30-90 of the Income Tax Assessment Act (1997) donations to the ASF are tax deductible.

Donors must contribute unconditionally to the ASF to claim a tax deduction, however, the ASF’s structure makes it possible for a donor to nominate a registered project as the preferred beneficiary of their gift. The Waverley Hockey Club Inc. – Facilities Fund, project no. 202026, is registered with and conducted under the charter of the ASF (ABN 27 008 613 858).

All claims are subject to being accepted by the Commissioner of Taxation. Donors who are uncertain of their position should seek their own professional advice.
