Over the last 5 weeks the next generation of Panthers have been honing their skills in preparation for season 2018. A coaching panel consisting of ex-Australian, National and Premier League players as well as Victorian State Team coaches led by Junior Coaching Co-ordinator Con D’Cruz has seen an intensive program undertaken with a huge amount of knowledge passed on to the young players.
The program has taken the group on a journey from a strong focus on the core technical skills of the game right through to the some of the most advanced skills in hockey taking the cubs out of their comfort zone and encouraging growth in their game.
The progression over the 5 weeks has been impressive to watch and we look forward to seeing the players put their learning into practice when the junior season kicks off in Apri.
A huge thanks to all the coaches for getting involved and volunteering their time to ensure the club continues to remain a force in Victorian Hockey.
