Congratulations to Waverley’s elite AHL representatives:
- Stacia Joseph
- Tom Scott
- Lachie Steinfort
Stacia Joseph, 2014 Don Vincent winner, Women’s Premier League Best Player, will be representing the Vipers in Brisbane Oct 4-11.
Tom Scott is an exciting inclusion to the Vikings team. As a late addition to the training squad, Tom forced his way into the 18 man team headed for Adelaide Oct 4-11. Hopefully Tom gets an opportunity to demonstrate his remarkable ability alongside ex-Kookaburra goalkeeper George Bazeley.
Lachie Steinfort will make his AHL debut for NT, capping off what has been a brilliant year for the Panthers’ vice-captain.
James Knee was earlier selected in the Vikings squad but will unfortunately miss AHL with injury after an interrupted season 2014. All the best JK.
The club congratulates its stars and wishes the Vipers and Vikings luck in winning the National title.
Live streaming of the AHL competition, starting this Saturday October 4, will be available through the Hockey Australia here.
