This Saturday 13th May Waverley will host Doncaster Hockey Club for the Hockey Victoria’s 2017 Women’s Round.
As part of the celebration of Women in our great game an afternoon tea will be held at the club, supporting Breast Cancer Network Australia:

What to bring? Each team to bring 5 pink-dishes (e.g. pink cakes, beetroot dip, on pink platter even)
All teams are encouraged to get back to the club post game and help celebrate this annual highlight on the hockey calendar.

There are also a number of other events going on around Women’s Round and the club encourages its members to get along and support these initiatives. Events include:
- HV Women’s Round Live Stream Match – On the Sunday, HV’s Premier League match between Greensborough and Camberwell will be live streamed. BCNA will be providing a field of pink ladies to further showcase our partnership to those who tune in.

- HV Women’s Round Workshop – As part of Hockey Victoria’s continual commitment to ongoing developing in partnership with our affiliates, Hockey Victoria will be running a ‘Keeping Girls in the Game’ Workshop and invites all members of the hockey community to come along and engage in discussions about how to retain females in our sport.
