The Waverley Hockey Club Executive is continually monitoring our financial situation and we are at a critical point with the COVID-19 pandemic. Please watch the video and read the sections below to find out more about the ways you might be able to help.
We understand that many people in our community are facing financial difficulties presently. However, for those that can afford to help, please consider the following options:
Donate to the club
If all members donate between $50 & $100 we will raise $50,000 which will go a long way to meeting the clubs financial needs.

Register for 2020
We’re confident that there will be a 2020 winter season and we have provided an option to make a 50% deposit payment. When the season is announced we will be able to determine final fees and apply these deposits. If you have paid fees already, thank you! To assist with cashflow we request that we hold these fees in the short term and process any refund after we determine final fees.

Pay outstanding fees
There’s over $10,000 in unpaid fees from 2019 winter and summer competitions. We need to collect these outstanding debts immediately.

OTHER WAYS OF HELPING
Whilst we’re asking all members to consider the options above, we appreciate that some members have been considerably impacted by the current pandemic more than others and won’t be able to provide financial support at this time. There are also opportunities to support the club in non-financial ways including:
Support our social events
Our social committee is busy organising a variety of online social events, competitions and raffles. Share our events with your families and friends. Get involved, have fun and beat the isolation boredom by connecting with members of the Waverley community.

- Fundraising, sponsorships and grant applications
- Become a key contact / co-ordinator within your unit for fundraising and/or social activities
- Help to provide content for social media
- Administrative such as managing our records or assisting the Treasurer
