Summer Hockey Options

Waverley run several options over summer including:

1.       Indoor Hockey

Term 4 2021

A 5 or 6 a side competition (numbers vary between age groups & venues) with a goal keeper and five field players played on an indoor surface up to 40m x 20m with wooden boards down each side of the court. It is a very fast game which is popular in Europe and is becoming more so in Australia. Playing indoor certainly improves skills and decision making and is the perfect vehicle to ready yourself for outdoor hockey over the summer. 2.       Hookin2Hockey

Program for beginners to hockey. Our next program will be held in term 1 2021 with dates to be confirmed.

3.       2021 Preseason Academy

Back by popular demand, the Waverley Preseason Academy will kick off again late January 2021. The academy is dedicated training and skills development to take all players to the next level in preparation for the 2021 season. Coaching provided for all levels sourced from our most experienced past and present senior players. Past feedback has said it all, one of the club’s most popular offerings to develop our players.
