Waverley Hockey Club congratulates Stacia Joseph for winning the Don Vincent award for 2014.
At the annual Hockey Victoria awards night on Wednesday night, Stacia was announced as the winner of the Best and Fairest Player in the Women’s Premier League competition. This award recognises Stacia for a consistent performance across the season and is voted on by the officials at the conclusion of each game. In a team that achieved only four victories in 22 rounds this is a phenomenal effort.
To add to the evening, Stacia was also announced as a member of the Women’s Premier League ‘All-Star’ team. She was announced at Centre Half and was the only Waverley player to be included in the Women’s or Men’s team.
