On Sunday 23 April the second annual Bendigo Bank Cup was played between Waverley Hockey Club and KBH Brumbies.
Bendigo Bank is the proud supporter of both Hockey Clubs through their local branches (Canterbury, Ashburton, Surrey Hills & Balwyn Community bank branches). The cup is played annually and is based on the result across the four Premier League / Premier League Reserves teams.
The inaugural cup was planned for 2020 but was delayed two years due to COVID and was finally played in 2022. In 2022 Waverley HC won all four games winning the inaugural cup (read more here: https://waverleyhc.org.au/bendigo-bank-community-cup-2022/).
Our success continued in 2023 with Waverley wining three games and drawing one, more details below:
